I need to correct something in my last post. I just exchanged information with an excellent researcher of the Benjamin Brown who was in Albemarle Co., VA, and there is no evidence that Boikenhead Brown (who married Elizabeth Landrum) of Essex Co., VA was his father (or even related to Benjamin Brown of "Brown's Cove" of Albemarle Co., VA). Benjamin Brown was born in Wales about 1695, and he came to Albemarle Co., VA fairly early in his life. There is nothing that connects this Benjamin Brown to Boikenhead Brown or to Essex Co., VA.
The referenced Brown researcher looked at your post, and he said that some of what you have about Benjamin Brown's family is correct and some of it is incorrect (but I do not know the details). This researcher has over 5,000 names in his database that are associated with this Brown family in Albemarle Co., VA. If you e-mail me, I can give you his name and e-mail address.
