Ware Plantation, GA

I am seeking information about the Ware family that owned a plantation in GA in what is now Peachtree City, GA in the 1825 time period.

I have seen info related to the fact 2 wifes and some children of Creek Chief William McIntosh stayed at the Ware Plantation after the chief was executed by the tribe on 5/1/1825 for signing a treaty with the US without approval of the Creek Council.

I am trying to find out more about the plantation and the Ware family that took in the McInosh family. Also, which wifes (he had 3) and children stayed there. And what was the Ware's connection to the McIntosh's?, etc.

My reason for this personal research is that a family friend is a ggg granddaughter of William and I am trying to find info to increase her knowledge of Chief McIntosh.

Thanks,
Jim Robertson
