Hi Neil - Thanks for the direction to the Penobscot Family webpage - I have been there before but haven't spent much time digesting it yet. I'll make it a point to spent time on it in the future. I've only been researching for a few months - there's so much to see!

In regard to the Leach family - the website I sent you is the first that I've taken notice of with info on Mary Leach (I hadn't looked up her name in the Penobscot Family site), so I'll reserve judgement at this time. There is so much conflicting (and mis-) information out there - makes you wonder who to believe. I've found conflicting information between census records and official death records. I thought the LDS website would have reliable information until I discovered a pedigree listing a son's birthdate 40 years before the birth of his father. As far as I know this was (and still is) physically impossible.
