Hello Kersey, I haven't been on the genealogy site for a long time so you may already have found out what you need to know. On my Wardman birth/death/marriage file that I have built up over 6 years I have a Robert Wardman christened at All Saints church,Ripley on the 8th March 1755 son of Samuel Wardman. He had a sister, Mary christened 2 June 1753,a brother George 12 Sept 1751, a brother William 2 Mar 1749, a sister Ann 15 Mar 1746, a sister Eleanor christened 11 April 1757,brother Samuel Feb 2nd, sister Elisabeth christened 17 Sept 1762, brother Henry 2nd March 1765, brother Francis 25th July 1767, brother John 20 Oct 1770. There was a marriage on 26 Feb 1744 between Samuel Wardman and Eleanor Benson of Little Ouseburn at All Saints, Ripley. A Sam Wardman was buried 4th Jan 1794 age 75 yrs buried Hampsthwaite. There is an interesting burial monument at Thomas a Beckett church, Hampsthwaite which reads as follows: In affectionate remembrance of Mary Wardman of Killinghall who died December 19th 1842 aged 74 yrs.. Also of Francis Wardman husband of the above named, who died December 15th 1853 aged 88yrs, This stone was erected by Francis Wardman of Toronto, Upper Canada West America etc. I also have another Samuel Wardman of Harrogate buried 4 Nov 1797 at Ripley.
