Thanks for the helpful response. I only have bits and pieces on the Wardlow brothers. D.S.(David) b. abt 1835 acc to census in Los Nietos, Los Angeles, CA . According to cemetry info he was a minister b. 20 Apr 1835 in NC. d. 24 Feb 1904. In the same cemetery are: and infant D.S. b. 27 Nov 1882, an infant d. 1891, an infant d. 1895 and a child b. 1890 d. 1891 named John Carroll. Carroll is a name I find among Wardlow names.
David's brother C.S (Charles) was born 28 Sept 1849 and d. 12 Jan 1895 acc to cemetery records. He was m. 12 Sept 1883 Eliza Law of Illinois. Their daughter Alice Emily b. Oct 1884 d. 17 Oct 1885.
Does the Carroll connection mean anything to you?
