I don't have any information about Sarah Wardle. but I went to your website and Thomas, william etc... is a direct line of my family as well. I have been looking around online at some things after another relative of ours wrote a family history biography I guess it is.
I have never really known the Wardle family at all and have just been very intrigued by it all.

I have traced back to Thomas wardle born about 1785 married Elizabeth born about 1789 they gave birth to thomas, william, james, mary and john. John Wardle married Mary Kinston MORTON daughter of Edward and Mary MORTON. They gave birth to Isaac John WARDLE june 14, 1835. Isaac John WARDLE married Mary Ann ASHTON in 1869. they gave birth to William Haston Wardle. Mary Ann had other siblings: Betsy, Esther, Sara Ellen, and Elizabeth Ann there was another sister born in Omaha, NE. William Haston Wardle married Annie Serena Sorensen they gave birth to Mary Ann Wardle Thompson Rupp and Orrin Dermont WARDLE and there is where I got stuck.

Seems as if this is the same family line. Does any of this sound familiar to you in the research you have done?
