Am interested in knowing if there is a connection with our two "Warder" ancestors:

Looking for information on ancestry of Michael C. Kern. According to 1850 census (Taylor Co., Virginia) he had the following children: Granville (9), Clark (7), Eunice (4), Warder (2) and Julia 3/12. In the 1860 census (Taylor Co., Virginia) he is reported to have the following children: Granville W., Eunice I., Noah W., Sarah M., Mary I., Harriet L. and Alexina. His first wife is believed to be Julia Warder. He was married to Lydia Ford 25 April 1858 and again to Eleanor "Ellen" Wheeler on 28 Jan 1869. He is the son of Jacob and Sarah Kern. Am seeking information on this line of the Kern ancestry.
