Stephen, thanks for your info inre to Thomas and Elizabeth.I have been working on the family of Eliakim, son of Thomas...he definitely married Lydia Perkins as is well documented. But I have some doubt about the lineage of Lydia. Several secondary sources says she is the daughter of Isaac. Do you have any primary proof that Lydia was the daughter of Isaac? Savage says that she was 'perhaps' his daughter and I suspect that the other sources I have seen cite Savage but conveniently leave out the 'perhaps'. I think there is another possibility, namely that she was the widow of the John Perkins who died before Mar. 28, 1659 (Probate Record). Lydia married Eliakim on Oct. 17, 1659!! I think Lydia was declared to be a daughter of Isaac by default...she was not mentioned in Abraham Perkin's will and therefore had to be the daughter of Isaac, the only other Perkins in Hampton, NH. I have not been able to track down the John Perkins who died in 1659...there was a Lydia Peabody in the area who was about the right age, but cannot prove any connection. Do you have any thoughts on this?
