Thanks for your message. Your Jane sounds interesting but I think she is more likely to be a cousin of Benjamin or of Benjamin's father, John. John was born Whitby 1802 and had brothers Thomas 1807 and Richard 1809 all born Whitby. Following his marriage John settled near Doncaster and most of his children are born in that area.
