Hi Keith,
I think I have a link to your Warburton's. My ancestor John Warburton (b. abt 1801/2 Tattenhall) married Ann Fletcher as below:
Marriage register of St Alban, Tattenhall:
26 Feb 1824 marriage by banns
John Warburton of this parish
Ann Fletcher of the parish of Bunbury
The groom signed the register, the bride made her mark
Witnesses: Thomas Heath & Peter Warburton
As it is before 1837 there is no father listed, but your Peter Warburton appears to have been a witness, and I believe also John's father.
Can you please let me know if you have anything on the son of Peter Warburton and Mary Morgan, baptised Jun 1801? I think they are one in the same, but would love to hear your thoughts.
