You are probably right. You and my husband may be kin. It is kind of a coincidence that he does not know much about his family either. If you have a name like Warbington, it is aLike I said before, we were told that his grandfather was born in the West Indies, but where, we don't know. My husbands own father did not know his father very well. He passed when he was very young and his mother did not talk about him much. Now that she is gone, it seems that we can not find much on those Warbington's in Chicago. I am trying to convince my husband to go down to the National Archives in D.C. to see if he can find some information there. It was very helpful to me when looking for my own lineage. I went as far back as 1830 to my paternal great, great, great grandfather. African Americans usually can not go back that far and it is a shame.
