WAPLES Family from Ohio
I am researching the John WAPLES family, first found in Muskingum County, Ohio in the 1820's.From census records, John was born in 1798 in either Maryland or Delaware.John's wife was Martha, born 1802 in Virginia. They lived in Muskingum County until 1836/37, when they moved to Vermilion County, Illinois.
John and Martha had three sons that we are sure about, Thomas, Joseph, and Milton. All three boys were born in Ohio.Possibility of two others, who would have been older, John and William.John and Martha also had three daughters, Elizabeth, Mary, and Amelia. All three girls were born in Danville, Vermilion County, Illinois.John, Martha, and Milton are buried in Danville, IL.
Our family are the descendents of Milton's son, Edward Milton WAPLES.Edward or E.M. and Thomas are found in Jefferson County, Nebraska in the late 1880's.
We've been lucky in locating information from Illinois to the present, but have not been able to find the parents of John and Martha.Would appreciate any information about John and Martha in Ohio and before that.

Thanks.
