Hello me again,
I have a query. You said that Rosina and Arthur married in 1953.I have in my possession their marriage certificate dated 21st June 1952. I also have in my possession Rosina's death certificate, she died 3rd March 2002. Although I do not have a copy of Rosina's birth certificate I can tell you that she was born on the 6th August 1923 in Marylebone, Westminster. I am not aware of any Spanish ancestry but it would not surprise me with a name like 'Rosina'.
So presumably your mum lost contact with Malcolm & Ian when she was 12, it's a sad story. Things can only get better tell her.
I can tell you that my father was definately not 'Spanish' or 'Italian', not with a name like 'George Mason' ha ha. He was an Aircraftsman at the time of my birth based at Hendon.
He was approximately 23 at the time. Rosina and George were only together for approx. 6 months, then apparently George vanished.
I can't keep referring to your mum as 'mum' can you tell me her name?
Speak again
Mike
