Genealogical Abstracts from the Georgia Journal [Milledgeville, Georgia] Newspaper, 1809-1840, Vol. IV, 1829-1835. pp. 299-300. "Saturday, December 25, 1830 A LIST OF ACTS Passed by the Legislature of Georgia, at the session held October, November and December, 1830. . .[No.]64. To separate and divorce John Wanslow, and Sarah Wanslow, his wife." There is no further information in this abstract. Earlier this year I tried to check out superior court records in Elbert County however without an index doing a search could be very time-consuming.

Elbert County Marriage records list marriage of Sarah Wanslow to Joseph Jinkins 26 Nov 1838, Vol. A, p. 049. She could be ex-wife of John Wanslow, Jr., daughter of John and Sally Greenway Wansley or not related to that family.
