I guess that Nicholas Wanostrocht STRAKER was a son of William STRAKER and his wife Elizabeth LIVERMORE.The fact that one of his sons was named William Livermore STRAKER supports this. My great grandfather William LIVERMORE was born in 1803, just a few years before W L STRAKER.His father Ezra LIVERMORE later married as his second wife Lydia CROSS, half sister of Elizabeth Hurry CROSS. Ezra's father, also Ezra LIVERMORE, was William STRAKER's brother in law. Both were Sandemanians.
I would be grateful for any info about William, his ancestry and his children (I have a tentative list of 10 children so far).Much of what I "know" is guesswork, it would be nice to have it proved or disproved. You are welcome to it all if you want it - given time!
