Both grandparents came here around the 1900's, from Austria (Budapest & Vienna) - Grandmother's maiden name was SHIMKO and Grandfather's name was VADAS. Entering the U.S. their name was changed to WANDA. They settled in Connecticut. They had seven children - Helen, Joseph (same name as my grandfather) and Anna (same name as my grandmother) Mary, Elizabeth, John and Theodore. The family spoke Slovak, however, my grandfather spoke several other languages.

Information of my grandparents would be greatly appreciated.
