Wesley, it is impossible to know without more information. You are going to have to trace your family history back as far as you can. There are several good websites like this one where you can look. Maybe there is a genealogy society you could visit. Also check submission #476 on this website. My line is from Heinrich (Henry) Wannemacheer. My line from me back is A. R. W. - A. E. W - John Wesley W. - John W. "sr." - Henry W. - etc.
It takes a lot of work but it is exciting and rewarding every time you fit a piece in the puzzle. One other word of warning - there is a lot of misinformation out there. Be careful! Good Luck. John Wanamaker.
