According to "Early Ohio Tax Records," p. 8, Isaac Harvey Wamsley was "...born in Germany" while "A History of Adams County, Ohio," p. 653, says "Isaac Wamsley, the great-grandfather of the present race of Wamsleys, was born in North Germany sometime in the seventeenth century." Unfortunately, I have found nothing about Isaac's parents or siblings. Isaac & spouse Leah Stout Taylor had a daughter possibly named Leah (abt 1771-) & 4 sons, William (1776 NY-1845 OH), Isaac Harvey, Jr (1778 NJ-1825 IN),
Christopher (1779 NJ-1865 OH) & Jonathan (1784 NJ-Abt. 1830).
