There are several spelling for Wampole in PA. Wambold was the original spelling in Germany. If you will post a birthdate for Glenn Wampole and who he married, I will see what I can find. It is always a good idea to give a name place & dates. My Wampole/Wambold line is from Frederick who lived in Northumberland Co., PA before 1790. He did have tow sons who stayed in PA. Frederick removed to Ontario Co., NY which became Steuben Co., NY. Some parts of Northumberland county became other counties. Some researchers say my Frederick came from Montgomery Co., PA but that was another Frederick.
