Yes, I have been thing along those lines too that William Fox might be German. The Indian probably comes from one of the wives. Also have been checking Fox families that came from NJ to PA since the Evelands and some other related people came from the area of Morris Co., NJ to Northumberland Co., PA. With all of us looking maybe soon we will learn more on William. One other thing his son "Jefferson" Fox was Thomas Jefferson Fox. Found him as Thomas J. in 1855 NY state census. Eva
