James Wampole, Montgomery County, PA, b 1854

I happened to stumble on the Wampole Family and am wondering if anyone has a James R. Wampole, born 19-Oct-1854. This is my great grandfather and have been brick-walled so far in attempts to find his ancestors. They lived in Montgomery County, PA, in Sumneytown and later Pennsburg, PA where he died. Cenuse records indicate he was born in PA. I have been looking at Frederick Wampole, b. 1717, as a possible immigrant but have made no connection whatever.
