I am descended from George Henry Wambaugh through his son Henry d. 1805, Henry's son Jacob (abt 1802 to after 1870), and Jacob's son, William (1831- 1892). Both George Henry Wambaugh (1720-1787) and his great grandson, William Wambaugh (1831-1892) are buried in Amwell Ridge (Larison's Corner) Cemetery in Hunterdon County, NJ. Henry "Wombock" d.1787 aged 67 appeared on a list of of inscriptions for Larison's Corner in 1918 and again checked and added to in 1922. I looked for the stone (in 2010) and could not find it. It could be missing or so eroded that it is illegible by now. Willim was a Cival War Veteran. What can you tell me about George Henry Wambaugh or any of these other Wambaughs?
