Hey there -
I think I'm a little late to the party, but am researching my paternal grandmother's line. She was Harriet Walton of Weardale. I am back to Thomas Walton, b. 1829, m. Jane who possibly moved to Alston later in life. Does anyone have any information further back than this? I am fascinated by this line - they were so close knit! In the third generation back from my grandmother I am related to two pearts (on different sides), a featherstone and an emerson. Those names come up about a dozen different times throughout this lineage! Any info would be fantastic. Thanks!
