WALTON, JAMES ROBERT, suddenly on Sept. 13, 2008, of Phila., age 59, formerly of 47th and Windsor Ave., University City, Wagner Ave., Logan. Beloved husband of Mary Katharine (nee McCormack); devoted father of James R. Jr., John T.; son of Marie C. and the late Edward J.; brother of John (Nancy), Connell (Elizabeth), Kevin (Suzy), Michael (Ellen), Annmarie Pero (Joe), Terence (Linda), Timothy (Lori), MaryJane Seefried (Bill), Rosemary Djukanovic (Mitchell), Kathleen Louridas (Dimitri) and the late Edward J. (Marge); brother-in-law of John and Charles J. McCormack; also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Relatives, friends and members of Steam Fitters Local #420 are invited to share in Jimmy's Life Celebration, Thursday starting 8:15 to 10:15 A.M. from the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul, 18th St. and Benjamin Franklin Pkwy; and are invited to participate in his Funeral Mass 10:30 A.M. Interment Private. Donations in Jimmy's memory to the Edward J. Walton Jr. Research Fund, c/o Thoracic Oncology Research Lab, University of Penn, 3535 Market St., Phila. PA 19104 would be appreciated by the family.
