BALLARDSVILLE - Noon Walton, 81, died June 17, 2008, at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was born on April 14, 1927, in Itawamba County to Jessie and Bessie Bell Walton. He was a member of Ballardsville Baptist Church. He was the owner and operator of Walton’s Fertilizer Spreading Business. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed flea markets.
Services were at the Ballardsville Baptist Church with burial at the Dorsey Cemetery. Senter Funeral Home of Fulton was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included his wife of 61 years, Emogene Walton of Tupelo; two daughters, Joyce Loague (Junior) of Fulton and Betty Franks (C.G.) of Mantachie; two grandchildren, Misty Jones (Tom) and Sonya Loague; three sisters, Gladys Franks of Ballardsville, Vera Wallace of Mantachie and Edith Griffin of Tupelo.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Clyde and Grady Walton.
