In the family plot belonging to my great grandfather and his second wife at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Houston, TX there is an unmarked grave. The cemetery office said Mena Walters was buried there on April 21, 1923. The obituary in the Houston Chronicle simply stated she was 54, died April 18, 1923, at home, and her body was being forwarded to Ardmore, Okla., for burial. For some reason that did not happen and she was buried in space 8. I purchased a copy of the Death Certificate and all it said was she was "64", widowed and retired. Her spouse, parents and their places of birth were marked "don't know" as was hers. Anyone out there missing Mena to complete the family tree???? You can have her Death Certificate.
