Looking for descendants researching family of Samuel Walt, {biog. in Anniversary History of Lehigh County Volumes II or III} the son of Casper WALD/WALT (I believe this could be a mistake and that he is son of Henry WALT & Sarah SEHLOR )was born April 14, 1815. He moved in 1847 to Flourtown, Mtg. Co, he ran a hotel. In Dec. 1859 he moved to Allentown,Lehigh County. He died Aug. 17, 1870 and he is buried in Union cemetery.
He married Mary "HAUSEKEEPER", from Miltord Square. She was born June 26,1822 and died "June 26", 1895 on her 73rd birthday. She had married after Samuel died to a Philip MILLER (they had no children), Children of Samuel; Christian who died in infancy; Henry; Milton H.; Catharine, who married William BURRMAN; Mary A., married Alfred WEILER ; and Jacob, who died as an infant.
Would like to confer with and share information to further identify Samuel's ancestry.
