Hi Sharon, Seems we may be related. Here is some info from another cousin, also posted on this forum. Sarah Clementine Walsh would be my grandmother and their youngest daughter, Sarah, my grandmother. Here are 2 posts that me help you in your search. The first one was too long to copy, so I Just put the date in. See 1870 census expecially. I believe I have found them on the census, but I do not know how to find any other information about where the family originated. I know Patrick was born in Ireland and crossed over with his parents, Thomas WALSH and Ellen CASEY. My father says his Aunt Mayme WALSH told him the name used to be WELCH (Welsh?). I had never heard that Patrick died before his youngest daughter, Sarah -- my grandmother, was born. I do know the grandkids thought their grandmother was a terror! The family travelled through Ireland, Indiana, Illinois and landed in Nebraska. Does anyone have any information or connections with these names? I would love the help!! Thank you, Shelly Babbitt Notify Administrator about this message?
