Dominic Walsh, Halifax, Nova Scotia
Looking for descendants of John W. Bradshaw born March 30,1870 son of John Bradshaw (born between 1806-1816) and Mary Dean (1847)
other siblings include Richard Bradshaw born Oct 31, 1872 who eventually lived with his Aunt Adelaide & her husband as their adopted son (per his 1895 marriage where his name was Bradshaw-Fullard)
John Bradshaw was the son of John & Ellen Bradshaw, born in Ireland, a labourer whose residence was Kempt Road at the time of his marriage to Mary on October 20, 1866. She was born in Halifax, the daughter of John & Mary Dean.
Mary's sister Adelaide was married to John Fullard in 1872 in Halifax. Still looking for other possible Dean siblings.
Possible that Mary was widowed in 1873 when a John Bradshaw aged 66 born in Tipperary, Ireland; died, a labourer who was in the Poors Asylum (a hospital in Halifax?) as there was a marriage on Nov 5, 1876 for a Mary Bradshaw, widow aged 28 (1848) daughter of John & Mary (no last name given on the index) to Dominic Walsh age 37, a soldier. There is a Dominek Walsh family found in the 1881 census that would account for some members of this family. (Dominic, Mary, John & Richard) others were Robert J Walsh born 1875 and Dominic T Walsh born 1879 - no birth entries have been found for these sons to date under Bradshaw or Walsh.
Unable to find any of these family members (other than Richard Bradshaw-Fullard, my Great Grandfather) in the 1901 census.
Teresa
