I believe that you will find that your Thomas Walsh and my Thomas Walsh are two
different Walsh branches. It is possible that your Thomas Walsh is related to Andrew Walsh - 1800 census --22010 -21010 and my Thomas Walsh is related to Thomas Walsh(Welsh) - 1800 census - 31101-01201. both of Wilkes County North Carolina. In my visit to North Wilkesboro, North Carolina - I did find a Walsh history book relating to the Andrew Walshes - All that it stated was that the Walshes came from Ireland.
In my revolutionary War records my Thomas Walsh states that he was born in
Waterford, Ireland.
Waterford, Ireland.
In my correspondance with Mr. Paul W. Gregory, Hayes, N. C. who has been a genealogist for over thirty years - He is like me -Wehave not been able to tie the two Walsh families together. It appears that my line of Walshes took off th Tennessee et.
It is my understanding that the Walshes now in North Carolina all are connected to
your Andrew Walsh,

It would be Great if you could connect the two families together.
