Claudia, I have came to the conclusion that you are mostly right. Thanks to your documentation, my feeble efforts and the documentation of Becky Sowers, John Walraven born abt 1743 married to Elizabeth White of Wythe, Va cannot be John Walraven with wife Elizabeth in Elbert and Franklin counties, Ga. Both are listed on Deeds in their respective states in 1792 and 1795. The children of Va John Walraven are 10 years older than the children of Ga John Walraven.

The John Walraven born about 1809 on 1830 DeKalb county, Ga Census is the eldest son of Archibald Walraven and Mary...Not John Walraven, Jr son of John Walraven, Sr.

What is the true date of "Page 211 Franklin Deeds, John Walraven buys 287.5 acres from Thomas McDowell 13 June 1894"?

My only concern is that John Walraven, Sr's children all claimed to be born in North Carolina except for Polly born 1788 (married Johnathan Baugh about 1806) in South Carolina.
