Graeme, sorry for the delay in following up my previous message, a package will be in the post on Monday (11 Nov).
To anticipate what I have included re Charlotte's parents -
Frederic Barbey, a French historian, sighted Charlotte's personal papers in about 1902/03.They included her father's will written in 1803 (so he was still alive when Charlotte married in 1779).That document identified him as Robert Walpole and he left his personal estate to his wife Blancy and daughters Frances, Mary and Charlotte.According to one of Lady Dorothy Nevill's books, Robert's widow moved to live with Charlotte at Ketteringham, occupying the dower house, and died in 1826, although she is not listed in a transcription of the Ketteringham parish burials.
