If anyone has any family connection for John Wallas/Wallis who made LWT on 05 Jan. 1791 in Beaufort Co., N.C. please contact me. John was my grt. grt. grt. grt. grt. grandfather. I would like to know who his parents were. He married Mary "Polly" Hutson who was a widow with two daughters named Sally & Betsey Hutson. John & Polly had one child together whom he named as Lenner in his LWT. Lenner's birth name was Leonard. She was named after her father's friend Capt. Leonard but in other records her name appears as Linnah. She married Wm. Griggs & migrated to Hancock County, Ga. My email address: spstrick@otelco.net.
