page 300 in "The History of Portland, Maine " by William Willis states:
Wallis:
Persons bearing this namein Falmouth were numerous during the second settlement" It goes on to say The first of this name were Nathaniel and John they were both here before the first war. Nathaniel lived in Back Cove and John on Purpooduck Point.They were born in Cornwall, England. If this is your Wallis line I have more information I would be happy to share.
