Thomas was born 1630 in the Plymouth Colony and died 19, July 1674 in Providence Rhode Island. He married Mary Abbott and they had one son Thomas Walling II who was born 8, Feb. 1681 in Providence r.I. and died 22, Oct. 1724 in Cohansey, Salem, NJ. He married Sarah Elwell and they had 12 children. The children were: Abigail - b. 26, Mar. 1698 Providence RI; Thomas - b. 8, Feb. 1699 Providence RI D. 1750 in Salem Co. NJ; John - b. 20, Jun. 1700 Salem, Salem NJ and died 10, Mar. 1770 Glocester RI; William - b. 21, Nov. 1701 Salem, Salem NJ; Mary - b. 8 Sep. 1703 in Salem NJ and d. before 1724; James I. b. - 2, Apr. 1705 in Salem NJ and died 1788/89 in prob. Prince George Co. MD; Samuel - b. 14, Mar. 1707 Cohansey, Salem NJ and died 1779; Elisha - b. 26, Jul. 1708 in Cohansey NJ and died 1783/85 in Henry Co. Virginia and is buried at New River, Surrey Virginia; Joseph - b. 30, Apr. 1709 in Cohansey NJ and died before 1758; Benjamin - b. 22, Jun. 1714 in Cohansey, Salem NJ.; Rebecca - b. 22, Jun. 1714 in Cohansey NJ; Deborah - b. 22, Jun. 1714 in Cohansey NJ.
