John P Walling was a son of Lumen Walling and Elizabeth,
He married my g Grandmother Mary Lutz 3 Feb 1894 in Medina Ohio and my Grandmother Ida Walling was born 12 Sep 1894. John died 2 weeks later on 27 Sep 1894 from typhoid fever. Ida married Paul Sheets Hartel and my mother was Jean Hartel. She married Carl Hill and I am Colleen (Hill) LaPlante.
Luman was the son of Nicholas Walling and Eunice (Ensworth)Walling of Maryland, Otsego Co., NY. They settled in Wattsburg, Erie Co., PA; moved about 1841 to Parkersburg, W. Virginia. Per: A Genealogical History of Henry Adams of Braintree Mass., And His Descendants; also John Adams of Cambridge, Mass., 1632
