A note of interest: Thomas I was the son of Ralph Wallen & Joyce Nail of Walsingham, England, and carried the surname Wallen. Thomas II was a bad sort who ran off with another man's wife and changed his surname to Walling. I have seen this in only one place so it is not verified, but it's interesting.
