Hi List -

I found the answer to my own question after having written Cheves Walling of New Hampshire. Cheves is a retired chemist from Columbia U. and the U. of Utah and is Willoughby Walling's grandson and William English Walling's nephew. They are descended from Thomas I of Rhode Island, through Thomas II and then James. I am from Thomas I, Thomas II, and then Jacob.

Anyway, for those who may be interested, this part of our family is related!
