I believe that I have unraveled my Joseph Walling puzzle. He is the one who d. in 1819. I conjecture that this Joseph Walling, b. New Hartford, Litchfield Co., CT ca. 1773 m. Lucinda Waters b. ca. 1795. The latter had siblings Curtis, Asanath, Lydia, Timothy and Almira. All were b. in CT except Almira, the youngest, who was b. in Otis. MA. They were the children of Benjamin Waters and Lydia Simons. He was a Revolutionary War pensioner. Almira (Waters) Wickham was the aunt of Charlotte Piper. My source for the conjecture is a listing of pioneer women who came to Ashtabula Co. prior to 1840. If interested, I can send you this docmentation as an attachment. Charles
