Wondering if this is long lost brother to my Mary Ann Walli/g, John T. Walling & Carrie M. Wallin born to Joseph & Susannah (Cook) Wallin (g added most times).
All born in England, except Carrie M. Wallin, b. 1847 in USA, possibly Cayuga County, NY, but may not be correct.

Family lore is that after children were "orphaned" the boys went to work on the Erie Canal.
John T. Walling joined the Army & served in the Civil War & lived in Sac City, Iowa--then went West to Napa, CA.
Mary Ann & Carrie M. Wallin/g, sisters, lived in died in MI from 187? to 1905 (Mary Ann Christian died) & 1920 when Carrie M. Wallin Brown died.
Curious if this is their brother, Thomas Walling, b. ca 1836 in England.
1. JOSEPH1 WALLIN was born Abt. 1808 in Keyham, Leicester, England. He married SUSANNAH COOK November 19, 1833 in Keyham, Leicester, England.
Wallin parents from England, came to America before 1847, where they had last (?) child, Carrie.
Parents confirmed to be Joseph & Susan (Susannah Cook) WALLIN who may have came to Brooklyn on the ship Shenandoah, in 1845. Lived in Brooklyn per obit of John T. WALLIN. Mary Ann Walin Christianís death certificate of Dec. 1905 lists her parents as Joseph & Susan Cook WALLIN.
2i. WALLIN, Carrie M., born 1847, parents died ??, as an infant & she went to live with the Benj. VanOstrand family in Albion,MI.
2ii. Wallin, John T.~ brother b. July 03, 1840, in England. Served in Civil War. Lived in Sac City, Iowa in 1870, Carrie last saw him in 1876. His is wife Hannah Carter.
2iii. Mary Ann Wallin, b. in England Mar. 01, 1841. Married Horace John Christian, son of John Christian & Rheuanna Tefft, who was born 24 Feb. 1840. Married Mary Ann Wallin on 23 Dec. 1858. In 1870 they are listed in Mentz, Cayuga County, NY Census on page #52, Dwelling 442, Family 456. Horace John Christian died 05 Aug 1877 in Fredonia, MI from a horse kicking him, he was 37 years, 5 months, 12 days in age. Inf. From Christian Family Chronicles & replies on Genealogy.com. I also
