Rachel Walling married Nathaniel Collins and the Barbour Collection of records lists the following children born to them in Barkhamsted, Litchfield County, Ct: Sally in around 1787, John, Rachel, Nathaniel, Assenath, Thomas, Vina and Asahel.

My third great grandmother was a Sally Collins who married Jonathan Beckley of Canaan Township, Litchfield County, Ct. between 1807 and 1812, they had children by 1812. I've had no records to confirm that the above listed Sally Collins is indeed my third great grandmother. But her birth is listed as Sally in the Barbour Collection, which my ggggrandmother used as signature on deeds in subsequent years in Athens County, Ohio even though census records would list her as Sarah. In that Barbour Collection she's one of two Sarah Collins listed in about the correct age group, but the only one in Litchfield County.

Do you have any insight into this Rachel Walling, her marriage and her daughter Sally Collins? Thanks, Mike at msb@core.com
