OK,

I'm usually easy to get along with, but I won't willingly participate in forums where I have to pay to post.

If that is Genealogy.com's intention for the GenForums, then I will very much want to take my research discussions elsewhere.

GenForums have been valuable to me, but I want to hear from people who are NOT members (or not current, dues-paying members). It's worth it to me to help build up another forum that's more open.
