St. Charles (Kane County, Illinois) Chronicle, July 29, 1970, The Grapevine: Guests from Sweden. Recent house guests at the Howard Wallin home in Wild Rose were Major Siggy Rosborn and family from Stockholm, Sweden, who were touring this country for the first time. Mrs. Rosborn is a distant cousin of Mr. Wallin.

The Rosborn's 15 year old daughter Eva, who had been corresponding with the Wallin's daughter Lynn for three years, remained in St. Charles for an additional 10 days and flew back to Sweden alone this week, with her English perfected and a better understanding of American teen-age customs and interests.
