I am responding because my grandmother, Minnie Wallin, born Sept. 20, 1897 in Sandstone, Pine County, but lived in Duluth and Jacobson most of her life. She married Fred Lindman. She died in Rush City, Chisago County. Her father was Henry Wallin and her mother was Betsy Wickblom. She had one brother, William, who also lived in Duluth. I have been so frustrated trying to trace my roots on this part of my family. My father, Leonard, visited with the family but alone, so I only have his tidbits of information to go on and it is little. I hope someone out there can help. Thanks, Karen
