Seeking information on Richard Waller, son of Mississippi ferryman Joseph Waller. Joseph sold the ferry in 1817 and removed across the river with at least son Joseph Waller, Jr., to Union Co IL in 1818. Son Richard was still on the Cape Girardeau Co MO tax list in 1818 with 231 acres, but not for 1819-1821. Has anyone a clue as to what happened to Richard?
