Yes, thank you, I'm all too familiar with the story.
As I've just said, I do NOT know who John Waller's parents were.Obviously, a coat of arms can't reveal that information, nor can it tell you a date of birth. How could it?It does however show (provided it is accepted that the two coats of arms are identical) that there was indeed a direct connection between the Wallers of Newport Pagnell and the Wallers of Beaconsfield, which is the point you raised and the point to which I was responding.
If the two coats of arms are not identical, of course it proves nothing. You will have to decide for yourself whether or not you accept that the two coats of arms are identical. There are easily available sources of reference which can be consulted.Since in the past you've taken offence at my suggestions for research, I'll refrain from offering any specific suggestions, but the Library of Virginia might be a reasonable starting place.
Getting back to the subject of this thread goes, I myself take the view that when a John Waller related to the Wallers of Beaconsfield Bucks. suddenly pops up in the 17th-century records of a nearby Bucks. parish, it is more likely that he came from Beaconsfield than from Essex. However, neither of these things can be proved or disproved, on present knowledge. It is speculation. As I have said before.
