I am wondering if Sallie is the sister of my great-grandfather, Jackson J Wallen, who was born in Kentucky in 1844. His father was John R Wallen, born in Kentucky, and his brother was also John R Wallen who is buried in Cassville, Missouri. I just learned that John R was Jackson's father (I've been searching a long time) and came back to the message boards. I realize your message is a year old, but I'm also discovering that it takes a LONG time to get these connections figured out! Let me know more about Sallie if you have any more info. Thanks
