Hey, Burma. Only thing i found on Ancestry.com was a Thomas Nail who was a member of the Colonial Virginia Militia 1651-1776 (I think the latter...17something) This family may have gone on to NC/TN/ARK...don't know as didn't pursue much further. Was just looking for early.Name could also have changed to Nalle. However, I am very interested in the Ralph lineage, too, and collect all little bits of info I find!I believe I was in touch with another researcher whose name I'm not certain of so won't mention...who thought the Nails or members of this family were on the "Anne" and it continued it's journey to VA.Saints and Strangers says there were abt 60 people and some livestock and proceeds to name the names available which are probably abt 60!Perhaps it was a later trip on the "Anne," or maybe just an unproven theory. The earliest arrival I SAW..not meaning much..was 1704 to VA by this Thos. or perhaps another.bettylee
