Having just returned from the Wallen Family reunion in Rogersville, TN, I think a case
might be made that Matthew or Mathias may
have been a son of Thomas and Mary Cox Walling. Several genealogists believe he md.
Amy Rice, dau. of Margery Walling-Isaac Rice, and the little info in Carolyn Wallin's book certainly lines up with being a
son of Thomas in my opinion.
