According to the 1910 census for Haskell County, Liberty Township, Oklahoma it shows a "Alfred R. Wallen". Although this is the first time anyone has ever heard the name Alfred, we are sure this is our gr. Grandfather "Dolph". He was born appox. 1835 in Oklahoma, both his parents born in Tenn.. Dolph was married 3 times, his first marriage, approx. 1868-69 to Emma Thurman, 3 children, Sarah Jane, William(Billy) and Joseph(Joe) my Grandfather. I have no information on where they were married. I was always told Dolph was born in Tenn. but assuming the census record is most accurate, he was apparently born in Okla Indian Territory. I would really like to share information with you. If you have email, my address is diana@lodelink.com or let me know how to reach you.
